Saturday was a special night at the Wingnuts game for Maddie and Nate. Not only did they get free tickets for participating in the Summer Reading Program, it was free youth jersey give-a-away night and we got to run the bases after the game was over. We invited Grampy Keith to come along, too!

Right away they wanted popcorn.

And play at the playground. The Wingnuts scored seven (seven!) runs in the first inning and there were 14 runs scored in the entire game. I didn't see any of them.

Nate's been talking al week about going to a "bayball game" and he was excited to be there. Maddie watches as the players are introduced. She's done this before.

Popcorn wasn't enough. They wanted ice cream, too.

Grampy suggested peanuts. We got two bags. Nate figured it out pretty quickly.

Rounding third and coming for home!

Everyone say, "baseball!"

While I couldn't get everyone to agree to a group photo, Grampy Keith was able to get Nate to stand for a photo.

Maddie wouldn't. But, we had a great time and the Wingnuts won. Thanks, Grampy Keith, for goin' to the game with us!
